'Almost New York' is an ongoing personal project shot on 35mm film. Grey skies, cold and windy days that pass by like they always do, every day. This is not New York, London or Tokyo. There is nothing spectacular about my hometown — in fact, it is so boring. But on the other side of that boredom, there must be something interesting. The question is: what? This is my hometown. It's almost New York, but not quite.
